Let us be glad to be followers of Christ and remember that even Christ had to have help in carrying his cross.

Lord, help us to do what you require of us: only this, to act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with our God.

We pray for those who are

    looking for God

    trying to ignore God

    in need of God because they are anxious, ill, afraid

    angry with God

Equip your Church that we might reach out to those in need. 

Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come, your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread

and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespeass against us.

Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.

For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory

For ever, and ever, Amen.
